On January 23, we (the firm) filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court in the case Ryan v. Telemarketing Associates, 02-1806. You can see our brief here.

Sunday night, February 9, we finished an amicus brief in FEC v. Beaumont, 02-403. Actually, it was 3:30 in the morning. I'll put up a link when the brief is up.

Ok, it's been over six months since I posted anything. My goal is to post at least once a week (that's not unreasonable). I've also started working on my other webpage: www.geocities.com/greenvandenplas. Needs lots of work.

On Sunday 4/28/02 Stephanie Dosch threw me a lingerie shower and Gerald cooked the food. Jeremiah opened the champagne and made a souvenier hole in the Dosch's kitchen ceiling. It was fun.

On Tuesday 4/23/02 Jeanie Moore and several other ladies from Harvester threw me a bridal shower. It was fun. A lot of people came and we had cake and chocolate covered strawberries.

Yesterday, we mailed the invitations. Today, she came here to work, and we went and got the marriage license. We also got her passport photo, and she went and turned her application in.

We got the invitations on Friday. They look very nice and are pretty much done; just need postage. Met with Don again. We were not able to finish all of the assignments. Have just about as many this time, but I know now how to better manage the time.

I ordered the invitations yesterday. We met with Don again, and he gave us a lot of reading material. Of course everything is overwhelming . . .

I gave her the ring a week ago today. She has the dress as well as the other ladies' dresses. She has candles and other stuff. Lots to do!

I intend this to be a page where Deidre & I can put news & information about the wedding and/or us in general. Boldly going where no Bullfrog has gone before . . .

It's the beginning. Not much to expect. Although expecting a lot. We'll see, won't we.
